Principal's Message

Welcome to Warrenton High School!  WHS is truly a diamond on the North Oregon Coast.  We are proud to open a new Career Technical Education (CTE) building on campus for the start of the 2019-20 school year.  The CTE building will house our new welding and auto program as well as our STEM introduction to engineering and manufacturing classes.  The Coastal Commitment sponsored by Clatsop Community College and our talented staff allow students to take 14 college classes on campus. We also boast a fish hatchery on school grounds.  The hatchery, having been built by student raised funds and community partners, is a source of pride for our community. It exemplifies what our students and community can do when they work together.

Along with the teachers and staff, I work hard to continue the legacy of success by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners.  We strive to build character in our students as they grow. Consistent implementation of curriculum in a rigorous manner, combined with strategic supports for students, gives us the opportunity to continue to increase achievement scores for all students.

All of us at WHS are eager and excited to be a part of what promises to be the best year ever.  We will continue to grow our CTE classes, college class offerings, and extra-curricular programs that allow our students to build relationships while making real-word connections.  As the Principal, it is important for me that everyone who steps through the doors – teachers, students, and parents – are excited to be here.
